Cookie Policy: How We Use Data
Last updated: July 30, 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser. They are widely used to make sites work, remember choices, and measure how a site is used. A cookie does not give a website access to the rest of your device, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
Essential
CashflowCalcs uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic in a privacy-friendly way. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It gives us aggregated, anonymous traffic counts so we can see which pages are popular and improve the Site over time. Because no cookies are set, this does not require consent.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand how the calculators are used. To do
this, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and cookies that begin with
_ga_ on your browser. These cookies help us see things like which pages get the most
visits, how long visitors stay, and which calculator features are most used. The data is
aggregated and used to improve the Site. For visitors in the UK and EU, these analytics cookies
are only set after you accept them through the cookie banner.
Advertising
CashflowCalcs plans to show ads through Google AdSense to help keep the Site free. When ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads, personalize ads based on your activity, and measure ad performance. These advertising cookies may be set based on visits to this and other sites. You can control personalized ads in Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. For visitors in the UK and EU, advertising cookies are only set after you accept them through the cookie banner.
Consent
Visitors in the UK and EU are asked to consent before non-essential analytics and advertising cookies are set. When you visit the Site, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the page so you can accept or decline. Everyone, regardless of location, can choose to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is remembered on this device and browser. You can change your choice later by clearing the site's entry in your browser storage and visiting the Site again, which will show the banner once more.
How to opt out
You have several options to control cookies:
- Use your browser's cookie settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or browse in private mode. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use the calculators.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting your data on this and other sites.
- Visit Google Ads Settings to control personalized advertising from Google and its partners.
